BLS and ACLS

At Serenity Health Solutions, we offer both AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) and AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) classes for healthcare professionals looking to enhance their life-saving skills. These courses, accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA), provide the critical training needed to respond effectively to medical emergencies.

• Basic Life Support (BLS): The BLS course focuses on essential life-saving techniques for healthcare providers, including high-quality chest compressions, rescue breathing, and the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED). This course teaches participants how to recognize and manage cardiac arrest, choking, and other life-threatening emergencies. Upon completion, participants will receive an AHA BLS certification, valid for two years.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS): The ACLS course is designed for healthcare providers who respond to cardiovascular emergencies. This advanced course builds upon BLS skills and includes training in advanced airway management, ECG interpretation, medication administration, and defibrillation techniques. Participants will learn how to manage complex cardiovascular conditions, including cardiac arrest, stroke, and arrhythmias. After successful completion, participants will earn an AHA ACLS certification, also valid for two years.

Both classes combine classroom learning with hands-on practice, ensuring that participants are equipped with the skills and confidence to handle emergency situations in various healthcare settings.

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) class at Serenity Health Solutions provides comprehensive training for individuals looking to begin a rewarding career in healthcare. This course covers essential skills needed to assist patients with daily activities, provide basic care, and support medical teams in a variety of healthcare settings. Students will learn patient care techniques, infection control, vital sign measurement, mobility assistance, and how to support patient hygiene and comfort. Through a combination of classroom instruction and hands-on clinical training, participants will gain the practical skills and confidence needed to provide compassionate, quality care. Upon successful completion of the course, students will be eligible to take the state certification exam to become a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), opening doors to a wide range of opportunities in hospitals, nursing homes, home health care, and more.

The Phlebotomy class at Serenity Health Solutions is designed for individuals looking to start a rewarding career in healthcare as a phlebotomist. This course provides comprehensive training in the techniques, tools, and best practices required to safely and effectively collect blood specimens for laboratory testing, donation, and transfusion.

Students will learn about human anatomy, blood collection methods, infection control, patient safety, specimen handling, and laboratory procedures. The course includes both classroom instruction and hands-on training, ensuring that students gain the practical skills needed to perform venipunctures and capillary blood draws with confidence and precision.

Upon successful completion of the course, students will be prepared to sit for certification exams (such as the National Phlebotomy Association or American Society of Phlebotomy Technicians certifications) and begin working in a variety of healthcare settings, including hospitals, clinics, blood donation centers, and medical laboratories.
